Topaz is my special needs, pitbull type dog. I got her in January of 2010 as a seven week old puppy when I was in my junior year of college. My family helped raise her and
took care of her while I was away at college. A month after I graduated
Topaz and I moved to Tennessee.
I graduated from college in December 2011. I am an avid animal lover and advocate for animal rights. I am currently not on the foster train simply because we currently rent. I have fostered in the past, mainly to orphaned infants prior to weaning, it is one of the hardest jobs but one of the most rewarding.
This blog is a place to simply share the story of our friendship, our journey, the challenges that we face and how we overcome them.
